Item power is too high.

Items provide way too much power, making it difficult in turn to properly balance the game and the experiences people are having when not getting decent loot.
One of the most egregious examples of item power is +levels of skill gems which clearly shows how off the mark the system is, especially when you look at something such as minions that rely on them heavily. But obviously it's not just that, it's items in general and poor balance all around in general. I've used several weapons without + levels of gems during the campaign that were merely decent and everything was still way too easy. Because of this, we end up with joke bosses because they get balanced around potential lack of drops... Because of this, we end up with way too much player power (alongside other balance issues) that nothing ever feels like a proper challenge. To this day I have no clue what a lot of the bosses scripts are past act 1. It's almost as if I've never actually played this game... Am I supposed to fight bosses with a white weapon and no support gems to actually experience their scrips and feel like there's a challenge and a meaning to it?
