Rapid Assault and "Final Strike" supports

The Rapid Assault skill isn't supportable by gems that modify the Final Strike portion of combo strike skills (which Rapid Assault is supposed to be one of) - specifically Crescendo and Rending Apex. Fix please? Thank you.
