First Architect Frustration

Excuse me but what the heck is this? Please explain why the first attack on the first try of this brand new boss that I know nothing about one shots me and then locks me out of the temple. What the heck GGG?! At first I was more than ready to laugh it off. Skill issue but whatever I'll just gitgud and learn the fight. Nope. I'm locked out until another 6 vaults are cleared. Punished for not knowing what even killed me and punished again because I died. To think, despite gggs best attempts, I was starting to have fun again but I guess that just really isn't allowed.

My fear now is even if I work up to the architect again and manage to somehow dodge the thing that killed me, he's likey to have even more bullshit that I'll have ZERO experience with and just get one shot again
The learning curve on this so bad.

If this was y'alls first game then sure whatever, but you guys made POE1... Did you not learn ANYTHING from that at all?
