Spirit Skills bugged

First i have a off hand spectre with purity of ice. i was able to socket support gems before. now it would not let me socket anything.

2nd. while trying to use a combo of spirit skills
: Combat Frenzy + herald of ash + Charge Regulation + purity of ice
i can only turn on 3. but i have enough spirit.
the whole things seems very buggy.
