Escape doesnt work properly in Windowed mode (Win 11)

lost 2 characters to this bug in hardcore...

Both were sprinting (current implementation is really bad), got hit and stunned. I tried to press escape, but by doing so I must have hit CTRL. When do do this, windows 11 opens up some menu (ignoring poe), and all poe commands are blocked.

I also realized it is very easy to hit CTRL on my keyboard when I hit Escape. I hope this can be fixed, otherwise I simply cant play.
