Poe2 Xbox controller issue with picking up items

Whenever there are multiple items on the ground there is no way to select thru them, you have to literally reposition the character and the direction it's facing and hope it highlights the item you are looking for.

Nope character just spins in place

Clarifying, naturally dropping piles of loot, so like 5 pieces from a boss or random mob, I can't scroll through. But if I drop a bunch of stuff, I seems to work fine I just tried with a pile of uncut skill gems
