Random chance additional projectiles only affect the eruption of Volcano

Guaranteed additional projectiles, such as through multishot, affect both the volcano and the fire rate as the projectiles barrage x times faster. Random chance projectiles such as through Psychic Fragmentation on the passive tree only occur during the initial eruption and never during the continuous projectiles either randomly or per Volcano.

Expectation:

1. The fun way: Random additional projectiles occur for both the eruption and the entire subsequent barrage, similar to multishot.
2. The balanced way: Random additional projectiles occur for the eruption and roll on each shot of the follow-up projectiles.
