Half day gone on Spirit gem requirements

I have almost spent half day just to try to get my tame beast companien to work with hearld of ash, why does everything in this game needs to be so damn time consuming? requirments for spirit gems is just aweful and needs to be adjusted a lot lower. Sooo fun to min/max attributes just to have 2 spirit gems to work.....................this game is soooo frustrating with all the restractions that don't make any sense....

* I Have 20+ all attributes on my neck which is mantetory for alot of chars.
* I have gem intusiat notable
* I have 29 dex on head

Do I really need to invest so much in attributes to just get two spirit gems working.....

Sorry just wanted to play the game but instead i find my self wasting soooo much time on management in this game it becomes so damn frsutrating...
