Loss of control after clearing Vaal beacon

After a Vaal beacon that summons guards (specifically this type), player control is lost once the chest animation starts. I can interact with the UI; opening windows like the inventory and world map works, but I can't move, use abilities, or open the town portal. Respawning fixes the issue, but obviously isn't ideal since it removes all the loot from the beacon.

I tried pausing and swapping control schemes, but it doesn't help.

This has happened to me twice now in the same session.

Can confirm, I've encountered this issue several times as well. Haven't tried reproducing, but it seems to occur if you stand in the middle of the animation. Currently I always move away from it and interact with the chest once the animation is done.

Also, yes, only respawn fixes it, nothing else worked for me either.
