Died in the Trial of Sekahmas AFTER killing the last boss

I died in the Trial of Sekahmas AFTER killing the last boss. Now, I'm stuck.

This is the second time it's happened, and this time I can't even use the Altar of Ascendancy, even though it's one of my objectives.

A very frustrating bug.

Third time. Life full, boss dead, My character is considered dead and can no longer move. Do I have to start all over again? No way. To die again and waste my time? I'm so annoyed.

Time to reroll. This game is only playable as Ranged.

This is clearly a bug, not a ranged vs melee issue.
