Long loading times in the same area, e.g. porting to checkpoint or entering boss arena

As title: when traversing inside an area, I sometimes get GGG-wheels with loading screen (with player UI still active, including HP bars).

Normally I cannot move during this state but already take damage.. Sometimes it works to spam space to do dodge rolls but nothing else.

Just died to a boss which a buddy of mine entered the arena for first, and me joining after via the Enter Arena interactable put me on such a long loading interruption, that I died.
