Headhunter teleport during limb modification

Using the Headhunter item, I entered the Surgeon’s Symphony machine and most likely gained a modifier from a rare monster that causes you to teleport to a nearby enemy. I was teleported outside of the machine, got stuck, and ended up dying because the limb selection options disappeared from the screen.
