Can not access Challenges / Achievements

This seems odd but I can not access Challenges / Achievements in game.
In options, the key bind is H but it does nothing.
The menu accessed by the 3 bars above charms does not show the option.
I was wondering why I was noticing numbers next to people names when they completed challenges while I was not accumilating.
I assumed it was a PoE 1 thing but I see its just a not for me thing.
Ideas?
