Completed Chaos Temple with 7 Trials - not able to allocate my 5 and 6th ascendancy points

Hello,

I just completed a ultimatum ascendancy run (on my PS5 account), I also wanted to reset my ascendancy currently only being 4 levels.

Below is a step by step to what I did and the problem I ran into as well.

1. Completed the Trial
2. Started refunding 2 of my 4 points I currently had
3. Ran out of money
4. Used two portal to to to town and sold some things
5. Can back refunding remaining 2 points
6. Interacted with the altar of ascendency
7. It allowed me to change ascendancy from Shaman to Oracle
8. Allocated 4 refunded points
9. Tried to allocate the 5 and 6th for completing this level of chaos trail, not able to

Is respecing to the different ascendancy supposed to eat up the points you normally would have gotten if you tried to do your next level of ascendency and rest it instead of doing 1 same level, then another higher one for the 5 and 6th point?

If not, could you please give me the two missing ascendancy points I think I should have gotten.
