[0.4]✔️Aspects End Game - 98% Max Deflection - Fire Amazon - w/ Amazon leveling tips

The most recent patch .4 has given explosive spear a massive buff to damage. It used to only allow 1 spear to be lodged unless you spent an entire skill gem to give it another +1. Making the limit previously 2 spears. Now with the update explosive spear gains +1 lodge limit per 8 levels. Which is very strong. This build can do just about every piece of content in the game. Outside of maybe ubers.

One of the new uniques we are using is Atziri's Step. This grants us the beautiful passive of "Cannot be light stunned from deflected hits." Holy crap this felt so nice once I equipped it. No more will you be stunned by a random normal skeleton who shoots his arrows with staggering force. On top of that the boots themselves give ~50% of evasion rating gained as deflect rating. Which is beautiful.

We are also using a new flask called Laviaga's Spirits. Which grants you constant flask mana recovery. If we combine this with the amazon's ascendancy "Azmiri's Brew" the flask will also grant us a constant health regen. This also allows us to fully heal our mana pool with our life flask which is a huge QOL.

We can get around 60% damage reduction from deflected hits. Thats not including further reduction from our resistances.

Glancing blows is a huge keystone for this build. As it doesnt remove or lower your evasion rating. It instead just makes evading less likely to happen while making our deflect chance be near 100%. You will still have around a 50% dodge chance after taking this with decent evasion gear.

This build does not need a headhunter or rakiata's flow to work. These are just chase items that make any build feel much more effective. Replacing the headhunter with a high res + high flask recovery rate yellow will show to be absurdly useful. Replacing the Rakiata's flow with fire penetration 2 which ignores all elemental resistances Is another cheap sub in.


I was recently informed that the boots Atziri's step. Can have the -5% damage removed because its a vaal unique. This modifier can be switched out for glancing blows. Which would be another 5 free points saved. This is an expensive upgrade. Below is an example of the boots that will really get the build going.



I would not recommend buying these at an absurd price as you can buy the base's and cultivate them yourself. The main thing you care about is removing the -#% reduction to prevented damage modifier.

1 - The ascendancy Azmiri's brew is very very useful early on. The amount of resource sustain this generates is absurd. You will never have mana issues with this. You will never be mana locked during a boss fight.

2 - To generate frenzy charges early on you can get the skill cull the weak. This allows you to dash in and instantly kill any monster below your cull threshold. This also highlights enemies under your kill threshold. Making it easier to dictate who is killable.

3 - Wind dancer provides an incredible amount of survivability. This spirit gem is taken by a vast majority of amazon's as it only costs 30 spirit.

4 - Later on once you need a more reliable source of frenzy charge generation you can move to Combat frenzy. Which grants you frenzy charges if you can pin, freeze or electrocute enemies.

5 - Open weakness is not that great of an ascension and should be taken last if you are taking it at all. Its a very standard buff to boss damage.

6 - The skill Rake has really high early damage. Allowing you to dash between packs and clear waves with little effort.

7 - Do not take the ascension Penetrate if your weapon has no accuracy rating.

8 - The ascendancy Mystic harvest will generate you plenty of life sustain if you have a source of leech. Pairing this with leech is instant will fully heal you each spear throw.

9 - As you level enemies gain accuracy rating meaning your chance to evade will lower as you fight stronger enemies. 1000 evasion rating may let you dodge 50% of attacks early on. But later in the campaign this % will plummet quickly. So be sure to equip new evasion gear frequently.

10 - Friendly reminder to check shops every level :) I always forget this...

11 - A very strong combo for grinding through the campaign is Explosive spear + Rapid Assault. Try to get multiple explosive spears active at once. During arm time use Rapid Assault.

12 - Pairing rapid strikes with explosive spear causes a huge bursts of damage. You can 5 tap the act 1 boss with this combo.
