Why no poe 1 love?

Here we are weeks into the league of trash loot trash mechanics. Meanwhile its raining divs over on poe 2 while yall have given multiple updates to fix their loot.

Why is poe 1 being ignored? This is the game that built poe 2 yet poe 2 is getting more care and loving than the game that built it. We are in shambles on trash loot mechanics. A horrible league mechanic that provides no good loot. But, yall sure had no issues buffing poe 2 loot so players can earn 10k divs in a single day nearly.

Fix poe 1 loot now that you have massively buffed poe 2 to keep players from quitting... Now do the same for poe 1.

I don't understand why people complain about loot.
I have hundreds of divines and 30k chaos orbs at the moment with no specific strategy, and that's just the two most commonly traded currencies.

See, that's the issue. Commonly traded, you exchanged it at Faustus.

The drop rates ingame are absolutely horrendous, this league even worse than ever before. Divines are literally all inside of mechanics, I giga juiced T16,5 and T17 for 3 weeks straight and had probably 10 raw div drops in that time.

In the meanwhile I send 2 boats every 4 hours to kalguur, run my mappers and they bring in more currency than anything I could do in a map. When Idle mobile mechanics bring in more currency than actively playing the game, it is undeniable that something is very wrong.

You need to play SSF to fully understand how bad the state of the game is.
Trade doesn't matter because you can literally exchange whatever you want or craft non stop.

Drops matter, it is an ARPG after all.

GGG (and tons of players) have been saying this for years; the introduction of instant, asynchronous trade will, both directly and indirectly, 'force' the drop rates of certain items/currencies to be lowered a bit.

Do I agree that the drop rate of raw divines is a bit low in PoE1's core drop pool at the moment? Yes I do, especially outside of a couple of farming strats. But when you can easily make hundred of divines through other drops, I don't really see the problem, especially not a problem large enough to call everything "trash".

People have been shouting for the game to drop "good" gear. This league introduced the genesis tree, which printed "good enough" items, and also fractured bases for crafting even better items. But that isn't good enough, because you want only "raw divines". What are you using the raw divines on? Let me guess; trading. Then what's so bad about trading to get the divines?

TLDR: I agree that the endgame grind needs a rebalance, and certain mechanics need a buff when it comes to raw currency. Hell, I even agree that the core drop pool needs adjustments. But it's pretty easy to progress economically, so I don't really see the HUGE "trash" problem.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

The loot is bad in 3.27 period.

Anyway because that's how they do things now. "It's now time for the new toy". I think the orders are comming from up top no way anyone would put their best game and the game that allowed them to have another game on maintenance mode with a massive deafening silence willingly.
"Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."

Take me back when poe was the actual focus.
Chris had said multiple times in regards to adding an auction house that it would mean reducing drops as far as 100x the typical rate they had at the time and effectively ruin the game.

SSF was already tough enough on drop rates for non-career or unemployed players. Casual's just want to import their items with currency and copy a google guide. If you want to play the game on your own merit without guides, without meta, without trade you're just shit out of luck.

It's also not that hard to maintain different loot tables for SSF vs. Trade/Sandbox mode, less work than keeping ruthless in the game.

You say that... why? Do you have an inkling of an idea what the devs need to do to balance separate loot tables? Do you even know how little work they put into Ruthless these days?

Don't get me wrong, if they decided to remove the Migrate option from SSF mode and balance it differently I'd be all for it, but you make it sound like they could do it on a whim with minimum effort. Rest assured, that isn't the case lol.
