Xopec Medallion not giving +crystal storage

So I have made a few characters so far, and with each character at times I have encountered an issue where I am at the Temple Console and I click the Xopec Medallion (+6 crystal capacity) and it did not increase my capacity. Some people have thought I meant that it didn't let me pick it up and it might have disappeared because I was already holding my max medallions - this isn't the case. When I try to pick up Xopecs while holding my max medallion count, it simply says I do not have the room. When I have room, it places the medallion into my inventory.
My issue now has been the last 3 times I have found Xopecs Medallion, I have left the temple, closed it, open the Temple Console screen and left click the Xopec to add +6 crystal capacity. Each time it did not add to my capacity. One time I tried it was coming from my hideout. One time I tried it was coming from a T15 map.
My current crystal storage is 12. So it has let me use it once before. I have yet to place the Access Chamber. I have yet to kill Atziri. I am level 94 so temple level isn't or hasn't been an issue.
I simply have the Xopec Medallion in my inventory. I open the Temple Console. I left click the Medallion and it has not been adding +6 capacity to my crystal storage.
Has anyone encountered this? Has anyone found a fix? Does anyone have any sort of input or suggestions that I can try to fix this issue? I know having max crystal storage isn't too big a deal, but being able to run some maps for an hour or 2 then doing Temple would be nice. Also, just knowing wtf might be happening would be helpful too.
