Cast on Elemental Ailment – “Missing Socketed Skills” Bug

Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing a strange issue with the Cast on Elemental Ailment support gem and would like to know if anyone has seen this or if it might be a bug.

Even though I meet all the attribute requirements, have a valid skill socketed inside the gem, and have enough Spirit to use it, the game still shows “Missing Socketed Skills” when I try to activate it — but only in my Weapon Set 1.

The weird part:
I can activate the exact same setup in Weapon Set 2 with no problem at all. Both weapon sets have identical gems and links.

Originally, I couldn’t activate Cast on Elemental Ailment in either weapon set. I bought a new wand and kept swapping items, equipping and unequipping things to see if something would refresh or fix it. After doing that, the gem suddenly started working on Weapon Set 2, but Weapon Set 1 is still bugged and always shows “Missing Socketed Skills”.

Additional things I’ve tried:

Searched the forums and Reddit — found nothing similar.

Created a brand new Cast on Elemental Ailment gem — the issue persists.

Verified that both weapon sets have identical sockets, supports, and skills.

Verified that I have the required Spirit in both sets.

At this point I’m not sure if I’m missing something or if this is indeed a bug related to weapon swapping.

Had the same problem with Elemental Invocation and now with Cast on Elemental Ailment too.

Fixed it once on Elemental invocation by creating a new Skill gem.

This didn't work the next time i came up with the same issue though. I hope someone can help us with this bug.
