Mastodon Tusk Doesn't Drop

I've played a few different characters, but this is the first time I've been stuck because a quest item didn't drop. I cleared the Bone Pits defeating the bosses 3 times now, and the Mastodon Tusk still wont drop. It is preventing me from completing the Horn of the Vastiri quest.

Try killing the two bosses in a different order.
Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
