Account link gone wrong

Hey there,
I tried logging into Poe2 again today and for some reason it says that I didn't have an account linked to PoE, I tried creating a PoE2 account to create a link and now it says in game that I don't have Poe2 access, for reference I was gifted the game from a friend and was really enjoying playing it and have no idea why suddently it needed to connect account as If I never played the game I have a ranger character that is level ~87 that I really enjoyed please help me fix this issue.
