Can't equip crossbow even with requirements all met. PLEASE HELP!

I have really tried to figure this out but I am literally hitting a wall. This will sound like a basic issue but I promise I know the basics. I believe this might be a bug. But if anyone knows a work around, I would be super grateful and all ears.
For some reason when I tried to equip a new crossbow I just built, it said I cannot use this item. I am lvl 86 and the weapon requires lvl 79. Then I checked my attributes. The weapon requires 89 strength and dex. My attributes are dex164 int124 str91. What am I doing wrong? I have a bow as my weapon 1 and I had a crossbow as weapon 2. I never had an issue equipping another crossbow that was of a lower level. I use weapon points and I tried to make sure none of my normal points were using attribute nodes. If that matters. I read that maybe I should respect fresh. But I don't want to spend the 500k unless I'm sure it will help. Please help! I have a screenshot below for reference.

What do you have in the socket slots of the crossbow?

I have adds lightning damage and increased damage against uniques and rares. I thought about removing those too. What do you think?

Oh wow that solved it. It was the the rune of spring "adds 1 to 60 lightning damage". I have never had a problem adding that rune to a weapon before. That has to be a bug. I dropped a adds phys rune and it works perfect. Thanks for suggesting that. Seems like you might have run into the same issue.

Something similar yes, mine was with the +1 poison rune.

A lot of the socketables are limited to 1 this season, I assume you had a rune of spring socketed into your other weapon.

Ahh yes. That makes sense now. I did in my bow. I thought it was limited to a single weapon. They made it so you can only use one throughout all your weapons. That's silly. I don't really agree with that. Weapon slot two is completely different and can have a separate line of nodes. They shouldn't limit runes like that. Thanks for helping out in any case.
