Entangle dmg scale

Hey everyone, im using oracle entangle build and i cant understand the dps scaling of entangle it seems that the only thing that raises the dps numbers is level to spells. I had wand and focus held together 6 levels for spells and i have reap scythe 200% physical spell dmg +5 spell levels and 150% spell damage and the wand focus set was better. I am confused a lite bit
