Temple Building feedback

In my opinion we have massive problems with the Temple building. Last 10 run: no progression. I just dont get the needed room (spymaster). It's 30 maps! And i can run 6 mod T15s. What if someone can't? Even more maps. Let's say 3 mapsx5 min. Its 15 minutes/run+ the run itself 10 min. Its 25 min/run. So 250 min and no progression... Let's just calculate how long does it take to build a simple temple with 55 chained rooms - only the first chain, the most easier setup (no russian tech bs)... Lets say we get the needed room in every 5 run - we don't (15 maps, if we can run 6 mod T15) - its 55 room x 5x 25min: its 114 hours, almost 5 days of non-stop grinding!!! Just how? I get it. We have to grind. But you guys should understand, not everyone is a streamer. It should be much faster to build. Even if we get less loot. Its not even about the loot. I get over 100 divs just running the maps. I just want to build it, for the building itself! We need the opportunity to save our rooms, even without lock. For example an option, like: you can lock a room/next run 50% less rarity of item. But at least we dont loose rooms. We need a reroll of cards opportunity, without finding one. Like the same: reroll the cards/50 less rarity next run. So we still need the the lock and other stuff, but we can progress even if we are unlucky. And it is even more funny, if you don't get a needed room for 10 runs, but you run out of locks, and you even LOOSE rooms. It's possible to progress backwards even with 10 hours of grind. :D Streamers and professional players will always find a way to make huge amount of currency no matter what. But you should not balance the game around them. I know, its not easy, but you have to find a way to give something for the average players with a couple of hours of gametime and for the no-lifers as well. " That's not an answer. This is the feedback forum. He's giving feedback about the design of the temple, which simply is just pretty bad and needs to change. It's quite honestly some of the worst balance I've ever seen in terms of time investment required. It only benefits streamers and unemployed players that can play all day long every single day. The RNG is completely miserable for anyone else. It's amazing that they thought making it harder to get locks would improve it, because it takes way too long even after they reverted that change. agree with the bad progression.
have finaly got the acession chamber with level 91. since then i try to get to atziri, but there is never been a room that connect atziris chamber to the temple. the field in front of it was unavailable to all my rooms i found so far, but one i could connect. but there was no connection to atziris chamber. i thought, maybe i have to get to the access-chamber first, but there it says atziris chamber has to be connected. there are no tooltips that say what can or not can be placed in certain places, you have to depend on 3rd party sheets to get the connection possibillitys I'm Lvl 92 now, and i quit the league because of that impossibillity to get to atziri, because of the shit orbiter fight (never made it through the shit mechanics, always lost my calm, and befor i destroy my computer i quit the fight.) trials are a mix of boring and anoying, so whats left to do if the league is bad designed. sad to say, but this league felt a bit like playing d4... done with story and nothing fun to do. |

" Exactly this. Its insane how long it takes to build a temple. Real big smack in the face for casuals. Not surprised at all tho considering this is common practice for GGG. Player numbers reflect this too super hard falloff from launch. Eventually they will have poe 1 numbers that consist of streamers and unemployed. Temple building could've been quite fun, but GGG managed to do it so badly that all the fun got sucked out of it...

I play the game A LOT, especially for being an adult with a full-time salaried job, and I still can't manage to build a temple worth a damn, because the RNG is just atrocious and won't give me the rooms I need to progress. It's honestly such a bad experience. 0.4 has really soured me on POE 2. I had a way better time in 0.3. |
