Fix for temples

Just remove global modifiers and buff interactions between specific rooms as well as room specific rewards. First is because nearly infinite stacking will never be able to be balanced properly, you or do it the only proper way or you fall behind players who do. Second is just to keep temple viable as alternative content with its own unique rewards.

My suggestion could be just to change room building and resetting mechanics where instead of gaining energy for opening temple, just give us 1-2 "room cards" where we can collect them for more than 6 and then we can go to the console and "build" a temple out of what we have now and all of it will be reset on temple completion. That's all, simple and straightforward. We collect rooms for nearly as long as we want and when we want we go to the console, spend couple of minutes to build something, then run it, loot neat stuff and go back to maps.

Agree. They need to simplify all parts of it. This will reduce confusion for new players immensely. It will also allow more folks to dabble in the mechanic without sinking proportionally large amounts of their play time to do it.
