Secret quest hint :,) A lonely painting in a mansion.

In a dev interview they said there was something they added in mapping as an Easter egg they were sad no one noticed.

Well I don’t know enough about Poe to know who is in this mysterious painting found on the second floor of a specific mansion, but I know someone’s sitting in the chair in front of the painting.

It seems like a situation somewhat like krillson. Where a trigger is required for a conversation to apply.

Why does this random painting matter? Well if you look closely when you find it you’ll notice a yellow half circle of light that goes from the painting to the next room over. A very specific area illustrated.

I’m guessing there are things you can do in this specific subset zone that can’t be done elsewhere.

As the finder I refer to it as the last bastion of true light.

Anyway it’s getting boring not having people to work with as not even I can think of everything. So if you want to pitch in feel free to pm anytime.

Another reason this area is super suspect is you don’t have to do the “Stairs” section to fight the boss. So most people would just blast the first floor and never go upstairs. The painting is on the second floor in a corner so most people would just blast the elites and miss it. Also this is the 2nd time I’ve noticed it and both times a rare chest spawns just outside the yellow light ring so people probably thought it was a chest animation or glitch or something.

Makes sense why people wouldn’t notice or it wouldn’t click as truly weird.
