Banner skill behaviour and glory generation appear bugged with different weapon swap setups
|
Banner skills like War Banner behave very oddly and inconsistently with different weapon swap setups. I am using war banner in conjunction with volcanic fissure and shock wave totems. Here are a few issues I have noted.
- Banner skills gain glory separately for each weapon swap, even if toggled on for both weapon sets. For example: if war banner is toggled on for both weapon set 1 and 2, glory gained in weapon set 1 will not apply to the same skill on weapon set 2, its unclear to me if this is intentional. Glory also seems not to decay so long as the weapon set is not active. If a skill reaches full glory on weapon set 1 the player can swap to weapon set 2 and the Glory gained in weapon set 1 will remain until the player swaps back to that weapon set, at which point it will begin to decay at its normal rate. - Banner skills that reach full glory on one weapon set but not the other weapon set will not automatically weapon swap to use the skill on the weapon set where there is available glory. - Banner skills that are toggled off on one weapon set cannot be activated while the player is on that weapon set, even if the banner has reached full glory on the weapon set that it is toggled on for. Other skills that are toggled off on one weapon set will automatically weapon swap to allow the player to use them. This seems inconsistent and creates unresponsive/clunky gameplay - Banner skills that have been toggled on for both weapon sets, BUT do not meet the attribute requirements on one of those weapon sets, will still gain glory on the weapon set they meet the attribute requirements for, AND will display that glory being gained even when the player is using the weapon set that does not meet the attribute requirements for the banner skill. In this situation, banner skills that are activated when the player is on the weapon set where the skill does NOT meet the attribute requirements will automatically swap to the weapon set where the skill does meet the attribute requirements, and will then allow the player to use the skill. This seems like the actual desireable functionality for the skill, if it were toggled on for only one weapon set. Last bumped on Jan 13, 2026, 1:12:01 AM
