Suggestion: let a t17 Nameless Seer scry that t17 to drop for a t16 map
|
Hi,
When you meet the Nameless Seer in a tier 17 map, he doesn't have a divination card for you to scry, so there's a missing 2nd reward compared with ordinary maps. I suggest you add the ability to scry* the t17 you're in to override the normal t17 drop that's assigned to a map on your atlas. For instance in 3.27, i could put fortress on beach or jungle valley, or ziggurat on dunes. This would help in these situations: 1. I want to target farm fragments for an uber boss 2. I want to target a t17 for juicing because i like its layout 3. I want to target a t17 boss for a unique drop (maybe i want several to try to corrupt them) 4. A t17 I need more of has no natural maps which I want to run [this kind of depends on your own preferences, your build, and where maps are on the current atlas. i think in 3.27 i didn't see a lot of obvious maps to run if i wanted to get more citadels to drop] 5. I would be happy with almost any t17 that drops, but maybe there is [ahem <3] one t17 that is my least favorite, and I really want any other t17 to drop from a specific t16 that i plan to run for a significant time (or adjacent maps which will likely drop a lot) I put an asterisk on "scry" above, because I think that this should not conflict with *also* scrying a div card to your chosen map layout. So a t17 re-assign would be a "scry-like" ability, but you could assign and separately remove or replace both the t17 slot and the div card slot from a t16 map. I would argue that if you're already at the point where you're farming t17s enough to find a seer, that getting this extra customize-ability of your endgame atlas, slash power, slash quality of life, is reasonable and something worth being able to grind for. And again, it just looks like something's missing from a t17 seer; this seems like it would fit right in. Thanks Last bumped on Jan 13, 2026, 3:45:04 AM
