Delirium event won't close

I just ran an entire map (Mesa tower map) having initiated a delirium event but the delirium fog won't go away. Consequently, no simulacrum splinters have dropped.

Please fix.

Are you using Clear Skys tablet?

You are absolutely right. That is the tablet I dumped in there by accident. The problem, however, now still exists, only in a different form. No delirium rewards dropped at all.

they did, they just drop as you go, and splinters arent dropping from it

You wont get splinters from clear sky, splinters drop after the fog ends, since clear skys fog doesn't end no splinters will drop. Clear Skys is for a persistent difficulty run. If you are farming splinters, use the standard delirium tablets.

Not useless, increase in delirium means better drops. It just has a niche use.
