(Resolved) Bugs related to spirits

Before the bug occurred, my Spirit was around 160 and I was able to use the Spirit Gem without any issues. However, while experimenting with weapon sets and passive skills, I encountered an abnormality in my Spirit value. The allocation display showed [-200] instead of a positive number.

Even after completing all Spirit boost mechanics in the Act, my default Spirit should be 100 when not wearing any equipment, but instead I only have [50] Spirit.


Moreover, even after equipping items that should increase my Spirit by +41 and +46, I still only have 94 Spirit. Currently, even if this is a bug, 50 + 87 should result in 137 Spirit.

The game is unplayable in this state, so please address this issue promptly.

You've not provided much information with which GGG could hope to investigate the problem - and between that and the lack of similar posts, the most likely explanation is that changes to your allocated passive skills are responsible and there's no bug here.

e.g. this is potentially explained by you having allocated Lord of the Wilds

Also potentially explained by a number of mechanics working as designed.

If you shared your character information using e.g. Path of Building, both GGG and other community members could attempt to better understand what's happening & why.

Currently your bug report amounts to "I changed things and now calculations don't work as I expect" with zero information on your class, passive skills, equipment, etc.

Even if you just explained which changes you made on the passive skill tree, that would be a start. I'm not sure how you expect GGG to look into this at present...

Thank you for pointing that out.
We have confirmed that the Passive of Lord of the Wild is activated.
I thought it was a bug, so this really helped.
No worries.

To be fair, I do think drawbacks like that should probably be in red text, italics, or otherwise more explicitly differentiated from positve modifers. They're quite easy to overlook at present.
