Just wishful thinking

Hello,

I must confess I've never played Path of Exile but watching many videos and I'm tempting but the online-only is a bummer to me.

I know i might be in the twilight here, but will we ever have a fully offline version of Path of Exile?

Anyone think this will be good?

Love Grim Dawn personally. You will have to get used to the camera in Path of Exile a bit as it's more zoomed in, but the depth as to which you can customize your character and the builds you can play are so much more plentiful by comparison. Also, PoE has something GD doesn't have: crafting.

Where in GD you have MIs that can roll both a prefix and a suffix, gear in PoE has 6 affixes total and type of armour determines what can roll on it. Currency you find can directly interact with your gear & crafting and is far more than just what you use to do trades with other players.

Also, GD has strong class identity where the skills you can use are determined directly by your class picks (with few exceptions like Shard of Beronoth etc.) whereas in Path of Exile you could play a melee Ranger. There's endless possibilities.

PoE will probably never have an offline mode, so try it when you can ;-)

Both PoE 1 and 2 are excellent games, just give it a spin. Offline versions however will probably never happen. Hit me up if you need a free key for PoE 2.
