Disconnected from patching server

Since 0.4.0d I cant downloadl updates at all - getting "Disconnected from patching server" all the time.

Tried reinstalling the game - did'nt help, the game wont download at all, giving the same mistake.

Tried everythig I found: admin mode, files integrity and so on - nothing helped.

Standalone client.

Was perfectly fine befor 0.4.0d.

Have the same problem, on stage checking resources i got error message "Disconnected from patching server before patching completed. try again"

I'm facing the exact same issue. I've tried everything: reinstalled all network drivers, disabled OS security, and ran the game as administrator. I also tested proxies from 4 different countries, verified the integrity of game files, and even performed a clean reinstall, manually deleting every single file related to the game (including hidden ones).
When I tried to reinstall the standalone version, the bug persisted. However, the Steam version doesn't have this specific bug and lets me launch the game, but then I hit a login wall: it asks me to buy the game again, even though I've already linked my key from the official website dashboard.

The only relevant information I could find in the logs is a critical error immediately preceding the crash:
[CRIT Client *Four-digit number deleted by me here*] Timed out while waiting for packet from the patching server.
I attempted to diagnose the connection using WinMTR, but I am stuck at the very beginning. I cannot find the specific server IP address anywhere in the log files to start the trace.

I’m honestly worn out by this after spending so many hours trying to fix it. I just want to finish my temple project that I’ve put dozens of hours into and finally be done with this.
