Weird/Buggy interaction with scepter skill 'fulmination' and shock conduction

Hello,
I think I may have found a bugged interaction with the Fulmination aura.

In my build, I am using Thunderstorm with the support gems Shock Conduction 2 and Lightning Exposure. When I hit enemies close to me while Fulmination is active, I also apply Shock and Exposure to myself from those two support gems.

I don’t believe this interaction is intended by GGG. In the descriptions of these skills, it consistently refers to “enemies” and not “targets” when talking about status proliferation.
