Profanity Support Incorrectly Destroying Corpses

I currently have a character that has 100% chance to not destroy corpses with Volatile Dead and Profane Ritual and am using the Sacrifice skill to use my minions to consume corpses. I do not destroy my minions anymore when using these abilities. When socketing either tier of Profanity support both of those skills begin destroying corpses. The wording of the Profanity support gems does not seem to indicate that this is intended behavior, as it simply says it will consume extra corpses.
