After entering the Royal Chamber and dying on my way to Atziri my temple reset

I got ressurected, shortly after ressurection I pressed V to show me the Temple map and all my room greyed out, all were empty, I thought this might be the bug so I left the temple and it immediatelly destabilized.
Anything for me doing with bosses and Atziri was only frustration. Because it's so inconcistent. You can die without any concequences. Then suddenly I knew that I have only one attempt at boss, then I find out you can't even die before getting to the boss. While losing dozens of hours of progression for boss I didn't get to. Sure, the temple would reset anyway, but I didn't mind as long as I get to fight that run with architect and Atziri....
Ahh.. probably a bug happened so I report it... but it's frustrating nontheless.
Afaik what I gather from latest patch notes, you now are allowed to die to bosses.

All I needed to do was to enter the chamber at the end of the run, so I believe this is bug. I specifically died in Smithy tier 2 to a boss if that is of any importance.
