Awakened Enhance, Empower and Enlighten drop rate / acquisition

Awakened Enhance, Empower and Enlighten seem to be insanely rare.
Can something be done about the droprate of these to bring them closer to other awakened gems?

There is quite some market manipulation going on with these because they are so rare. I feel these should be available for more people to open up builds a bit more in endgame.

they aren't like other gems, much like their non-awakened counterparts.

They are exceptional supports. Drop-only, and following their own set of rules.


They are not meant to be "as common" as any other awakened gem, and are necessarily many times more rare.



Consider the tiers of uniques, or the tiers and weighting of mod rolls: they are so rare because they are made to BE that rare. Mageblood dropping at the same rate as wurm's molt would be absolutely ridiculous. Rolling t1 vs. t8 in a mod pool where everything is equal would be ridiculous. Exceptional gems (enhance, empower, enlighten) are to regular gems as t0 uniques are to low-tier uniques.

Also, there is ZERO market manipulation surrounding these gems: their value is determined by the supply and demand, with low supply and high demand yielding very expensive costs. This is NOT manipulation.....this is natural market pricing. Same pricing as everything in the game.

Furthermore, the price of a level FIVE awakened exceptional gem is absurdly more expensive because of multiple compounding NATURAL market effects: the value of the base exceptional by rarity, the value of the awakened exceptional, the scarcity of the awakened exceptional as compared to the scarcity of the regular exceptional, and then the RISK associated with corrupting such a valuable item. All of these result in an exponential explosion of value for the level 5 corrupted version. No manipulation, just natural economics.

Adding one last thing: awakened exceptional gems are basically the LAST step in min/maxing any build. Even after getting mirrored items. That is, and always will be, their place in progression. Much like getting all level SIX q23 awakened support gems, except on steroids and far more powerful.

There is no reason for them to be made LESS valuable or more common.
