GGG are gradually updating PoE 1's MTX to be compatible with PoE 2's version of the game engine - the majority of the MTX originally developed with PoE 1 in mind are not yet available in PoE 2.
I'd recommend using PoE 2's MTX shop if that's the game that's most important to you. Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
