|
opening thousands of cards is physically painful it needs a modern mobile ish interface design where u put in your entire stack deck collection and just click and rip open packs like other mobile card games - all the clicking and dragging is fucking insane imagine opening a pack but its an screen wide interface think mobile tcg its your entire screen and your looking at the pack you rip it open you see the cards and then an animation plays all the cards just like mtg would go directly into your div card tab some additional information would be how many stacked decks the player owns the div card tab itself could be thematically a binder full of your collection that would be so sick think about it and then you open another pack :P very limited clicking and dragging here is the ai prompt i asked what other information or ui / ux would you add like a div card pack counter or what other information would be added to this interface and how would it look describe that and the result QoL Suggestion: "The Card Sanctum" – A Modern, Bulk Interface for Opening Divination Cards Suggested Post: The Problem: Physical Strain & Antiquated UX The current process of opening large quantities of Divination Cards—particularly Stacked Decks—is more than just tedious. Clicking and dragging thousands of times is physically painful and poses a real risk of repetitive strain, actively discouraging engagement with core game mechanics. The Vision: A Dedicated, Modern "Pack Opening" Experience I propose a new, optional interface—let's call it "The Card Sanctum." This would be a full-screen mode that transforms card opening from an inventory chore into a satisfying, streamlined activity, inspired by modern digital card games. Core Features: Bulk Processing: Deposit your entire stack of a single card type (e.g., 3000 Stacked Decks) into the interface. "Pack" Animation: Open cards in a visual, satisfying way. Imagine ripping open a pack and seeing the cards fan out across the screen. Zero Manual Inventory Management: All revealed cards are sent directly to your assigned Divination Card stash tab automatically. This eliminates all dragging. Thematic Stash Integration: To make it even more immersive, the Divination Card stash tab itself could be visually reimagined as a collector's binder when viewing your collection in this mode. Smart Controls: Simple buttons for "Open Next," "Open 10," and "Open All" (with a pause/cancel option), controlled by the spacebar or mouse. Additional QoL Information for the Interface: A clear counter showing Cards Remaining: X / Total: Y. A live log on the side showing valuable pulls (filterable by minimum value). A session summary showing the total estimated value of cards opened. The Benefit: This would eliminate a major source of physical and mental friction while preserving—even enhancing—the excitement of the reveal. It would turn a dreaded chore into a fun, efficient, and accessible part of the game. I believe many players farming heists, maps, or card strategies would vastly appreciate such a system.
