Suggestion: "Character Fusion" via a Rare Memory Orb (Swappable Builds)

The "Memory of the Atlas" Orb & Fusion Ritual

The Key Item: A new ultra-rare currency called the Memory of the Atlas. It is slightly more common than a Mirror of Kalandra but cannot drop directly.

The Crafting Recipe: It is crafted on the Atlas Device using:

One "Soul Fragment" from each of the four major Pinnacle Bosses (The Shaper, The Elder, The Searing Exarch, The Eater of Worlds).

One Mirror of Kalandra (representing the "reflection" of a character).

One Divine Orb (representing the act of perfecting and locking the memory).

The Ritual: In your hideout, you place the Memory of the Atlas and the character you wish to consume (the "Donor") into a new device, the Altar of Fusion. This destroys the Donor character permanently, imprinting their entire build state (Tree, Gear, Gem links) into the Orb.

The "Revenant's Switch" Mechanic

The Ability: The charged Orb grants your main character a new skill: Revenant's Switch. This is a channeling skill with a cast time of 2 seconds.

The Cooldown: After use, it enters a 30-minute cooldown that cannot be altered by any cooldown recovery or skill duration modifiers.

The Consequences:

Using it removes all current buffs and flasks.

You enter a 2-second "Soul Transition" where you are ghosted and cannot act.

After the transition, you emerge with the Donor character's entire loadout and skill tree active.

The cooldown only begins after you switch back to your primary form, locking you into your chosen specialization for a meaningful period.

Design Philosophy & Goals

This version is built around three core principles to make it viable for Path of Exile:

Ultimate Prestige & Cost: The recipe ensures only the most dedicated end-game players, who have mastered all content, can achieve fusion. It consumes vast wealth and an entire high-level character.

Strategic Commitment, Not Convenience: The 30-minute cooldown, channel time, and buff loss mean you must commit to a role for a full farming session (a set of maps, a bossing rotation). This preserves the identity and weakness of specialized builds.

High Risk, High Reward: The ability to perfectly adapt to any content is the reward. The risk is the immense upfront cost, the permanent loss of a character, and the tactical vulnerability during the long, unskippable swap animation.

This system creates a true "God Toon" end-game, not by making you omnipotent at all times, but by giving you the ultimate strategic tool for a steep and unforgettable price.
