Should core mechanism provide by Unique Equipment or Asndcy Node?

If a major BD function is a must have, a core part of the BD, then it should be on the asendency node IMO
Like Poison bd, the Plaguefinger, all damage count for poison magnitue, might be more important than double poison number?
