Polish language support in Path of Exile and Path of Exile 2
|
Dear Grinding Gear Games Team,
I’m writing as a long-time fan of your games and as a representative of a very large Polish community playing Path of Exile and eagerly waiting for Path of Exile 2. Poland has one of the most active and passionate player bases in Europe. Many thousands of Polish players invest countless hours into your games, support them financially, create community content, and promote Path of Exile across social media and streaming platforms. Despite this, the Polish language is still missing from your games. This naturally raises a question: Is there a particular reason why Polish has never been added as a supported language? And slightly more cheekily — are languages like German or Italian simply more popular, more liked, or somehow more important to Grinding Gear Games, given that they are consistently included in your titles, while Polish is not? We fully understand that localization requires time and resources, but considering the size and loyalty of the Polish community, it would be great to know whether adding Polish language support is something you have considered or plan to consider in the future — especially with the release of Path of Exile 2. Thank you for your time and for creating games that so many of us love. We hope our community will one day be able to experience them in our native language as well. Kind regards, A Polish player and fan Last bumped on Feb 1, 2026, 12:12:08 PM

It's definitely a very interesting question why there is still no Polish language to choose from even though a large player base comes from Poland

" Probably this, and there might be few more reasons The market is "poorer" They had unfortunate experience and no longer wanna try Maybe there's 50k germans who play this game actively and only 3k polska players, hence the reason |

It cost money to translate.....
There are complaints from languages other than English, the translation are poor. This is the start of forum signature: I am not a GGG employee. PoE is very complicated game and got huge info structure in English. Translating PoE to Polish is bad idea, players will be lazy and not try learn English language. And without English they will be second class users. This game need so many external resources.
I was born in Gdańsk, Poland and still live there. I think if Europe set English as official language in all European countries this will be great. PoE2 = Patch of Slog

" This sentence is both self-defeating, and also just... kind of weird. It's self-defeating in that the idea of adding additional localisation options to the game is to unlock additional potential customers. Leading with the claim that Polish people are already playing the game despite the lack of Polish-language support only serves to undermine the claim that there is a business case for paying to add Polish-language support. It's weird in that you're directly addressing GGG in your post - and then attempting to authoritatively inform them of what their own internal data would be the most reliable source for. Also, the lack of any kind of source causes this to come across as just making things up, which detracts from the credibility your post might otherwise have. Very strange comment. Having spent thousands of euros on Path of Exile over the years, I will not be further supporting it financially until and unless GGG resumes offering Technical Support.
