Why is 32:9 not supported

Why is 32:9 aspect ratio not supported genuinely curious the reasons im seeing have to do with the competitive nature of the game but that doesn't make any sense like realistically are there game limitations? like why the reason to just make players have a worse experience?

The game wasn't designed with 32:9 support in mind.

Games tend to not be build around that radio since it's not standard so issues tend to happen.

I can tell there's some rendering issues with 21:9 already.
I play 3440x1440 and I frequently find myself in situations where my frames will drop down to 5-15 FPS, literally just standing in one spot, all the monsters dead, no activity occuring. Just standing - and it's very location specific. If I move a bit in any direction, it usually jumps right back up to 100 FPS. As well, when I do one zoom-in scroll on the mouse wheel while standing in the "bad spot", my frames jump from 5-10 all the way back up to 90-100. I take from that there's some combination of certain items existing on the fringes of the screen that for whatever reason, their presence is giving my cpu/gpu a hernia. It happens more frequently on certain maps (Grimhaven, Jade Isles) and/or when certain things are present (karui monsters, abyss, shrines, elemental ground effects, and couple others). Seems like the kind of thing that gets put on the development backlog and will likely be addressed at one point down the line once other priority issues are dealt with.
