On Abysses not closing... how many more months does it take to get it fixed?

Title says it all. I'm a bit flabbergasted at for how long some very glaring and crucial bugs exist and GGG is not fixing them. You know what I'm talking about: you killed all the Abyss monsters, but the pit is not closing. You keep searching for leftover monsters, but there are none to be found. This has been going on for like six weeks.

What generally bugs me out the most about this: I feel like the playerbase cannot reach GGG and they communicate so little that you really don't know if they have any real clue on what the most obvious issues are.
