latency... always the same

hi guys, i play PoE for a long time and i know latency was and is always an issue.
but now frustration reaches new heights. i am in the vaal ruins, everything is fine, i enter the temple and latency shoots through the roof. the same with maps. This behaviour comes on a recent time of the day and doesnt disappear even after different restarts, line checks, zonings etc. And dont worry, i worked through all the fixes published in the forums. When i come home i would like to play relaxed without care about technical issues. i am willing to pay for, of course and i did several times here. but i dont pay for frustration. sorry that i share this with you, but i need to once. Have you, at minimum, run a trace route?

sure i did, everything fine to https://www.pathofexile.com
as i said. in one area all is fine, when i switch to another area - map or temple - it may (!) go into desaster. and it remains, even after relog, change region or go back to hide and reenter |

" You need to use Exitlag and pay for the monthly subscription. This is your best bet to solve this issue. If Exitlag also cannot solve this issue, then most likely it's game over for you. This problem will not be resolved and you will get frustration instead of fun because the latency will jump to extreme levels and your character will be uncontrollable within the game. last few days ggg has huge problems with ping on every EU server at least, as i play U servers only
it doesnt matter is it morning, noon or evening, ust randomly pings spikes ansd sits on a roof for ... 20mins.. 1 hour, i dont know... i just shut down and come back after a while before last days it was not so regularly , but now... what did we paid for? |

" Really? You suggesting that ppl should pay for a vpn to be able to play this game? How about the devs provide more servers in the EU regions without us being routed to any servers on the other side of the world. Or try to figure out, why certain nodes get load spikes and cause massive lag for other ppl on that node? For me this is clearly a balancing and/or load issues of nodes. Sometimes it helps to wait around 10 - 30 minutes until an instance is playable again, sometimes you have to re-create the instance and hope the rng gods put you on a node without any issues. This lag issue got worse the last few days/weeks and is really annoying. Looks like it is time to play another game ... again. |
