Look, if you want a game like Last Epoch or NRFW go play them. This is PoE. I like the rugged design of this game.

This games ( that u mention ) are highly animated, not like Diablo series dark, grim and realistic design, but with vivid colors and made for teenagers.

Action Role Playing Games are not really Souls Like game, but they can became one.

The main genre of Diablo and PoE is not really ARPG but a more classical one named Hack and Slash, loot oriented and with magic.

Now players make it like a zoom zoom game because they like to play like "spelunky", digging for currency, items or something going into the "roguelike" genre.

You can say PoE2 is like Action Roguelike RPG combined with ARPG elements and devs make it like a difficult random generated platformer game in the end.

So they are not the same...

I did and will continue to do so, specifically NRFTW... aside from the crafting side, Last Epoch was disappointing too sadly.

Most of what GGG said PoE2 will be, ended up being in NRFTW... a game made by a much smaller studio with no previous experience in the genre. Unlike GGG, their studio did exactly what they said they will do. And if you take out of the equation what happened to Last Epoch after them being aquired by Krafton... they too did what they pretty much said they would do.

Honestly, it feels like GGG is trying to follow in the footsteps of blizzard more or less... not a great place to go if you ask me.
