Team Play With Life Remnants

First let me say that i primarily play with 2 friends i rarely play alone so it has become very apparent that if more than one of us is running a build with life remnants that whomever does the killing gets the remnants and when your all very powerful someone dies a lot because of the lack of life remnant production . now i know that the easy fix is to not run those characters together but that's not really fair to ask someone to not play your favorite character so i can play mine.

is there any thing that can be changed moving forward to address this and the host of other problems that surround team play vs solo play. it seams to me that GGG has made a solo play game that has the ability to team up with no plan for what team play should look like.
