We should scale granted skill levels with your level.

It would cut down on clutter, redundancies, sever space and over all increase the quality of loot discovery. Finding an amazing item and it being level 19 and missing a socket is pointless. You could lower the drop rates of many items to balance the market viability of these items. This would be a massive QOL to both the players and the servers.

Unfortunately, they will never add this because they put too much work in designing the gems like they are, both from a technical standpoint and from a visual perspective.
Other than that, they also have a stash for gems if I'm not mistaken, they would lose money if they remove this. I don't think they will ever remove this |
