Chaos roll targeting maybe?

Any shot we get like an omen or something or just an interface would be nice that lets us pick the stat we are looking for and then roll like 40 chaos at a time and it will just stop on what we are looking for. I get that we don't want deterministic stuff I guess but not having to spend an hour+ looking for the first stat in a craft can we just burn our currency and move on? Not only that but the dread of passing up a roll sucks. I don't really find that to be an interesting or fun mechanic just and annoying time sync.
