Im not the only one who thinks simulacrums are unbalanced right?

Anytime I bring it up in chat, SKILL ISSUE BUILD ISSUE GET GOOD OH YOUR JUST USING SOME PREMADE BUILD ONLINE YOU DONT GET THE GAME

Ive played since season 1, Ive usually levelled 2 characters to 90 a season while trying out many others not fully levelling, tried a plethora of builds, started understanding game mechanics and how to get full potential from skills, was a big fan of Merc but loved ritualist

Then I realized hey I can just use my merc build on ritualist with some tweaks and adjustments, 300 hours later finally settled on a really good build, Have done arbiter no issue, as well as pinnacle content, well besides anything above a T1 simulacrum

I dont struggle mapping, I can run through maps spray with galvanic shards + last lament and sustain life so infinite ammo pretty much, bossing I use plasma blast to get initial shock 40% magnitude, banner + broken/riven armour debuff, then requiem to melt usually 8-10mil dps in 10 secs

Galvanic shards seems like it would be perfect for simulacrum and it is

Sadly the issue with simulacrums is everyone makes mistakes, mistimes a dodge or presses a wrong key by accident, you can't recover midwave, you respawn just to be instakilled by the relentless hoard of enemies, if you were able to dlear all the enemies before the death and it was just bosses? thats alot easier to recover from

Classes that have a wide arrange of AOE abilities + more ways to scale ES seem to think theres no problems what so ever, anyone whos tried it on any other class has had nothing but struggles and frustrations, im glad we got infinite tries for T1 as its the first time IVE EVER BEEN ABLE TO COMPLETE ONE

Can say its a build issue, Its more of a flaw with the simulacrum itself it doesn't work with the direction skills are going, combo skills etc etc, you have no time to react, when you have abilities like cast on etc etc etc its very easy, + AOE curses all of that, sure other ascends can get that aswell but are limited in starting positions and nodes to properly scale damage

Am I the only one who seems to think simulacrums are just not well balanced?

Always has been, even in POE 1 Simulacrum is the hardest content. It's designed specifically for meta slaves to boast about their "skills".

It's simply not even worth the attempt.
