Implicits are pathetic (proposed fix in content = blessed orbs + currency to reroll implicits)
|
The state of the current implicits is abysmal.
You've got decent, starting implicits, however they get immediately outclassed, and when they do, you pretty much never pick up items with those starting implicits again. A quick fix to implicits would be to add a currency item, which would allow you to randomly change the implicit Small flat amounts of damage (1-4), life and mana, regen, etc. would become the "trash" mod for implicits, like how most people deem light radius, low mana/hp restore on hit, low regen, stun treshold or thorns to be for affixes. Whereas the good implicits would become chase at high values - This would also allow for more crafting, making bases, that have a "bad implicit", have an actual fix If wanted, it could make a trio, or any combination of the stuff mentioned below: -A regular currency, which would just add if there is none + reroll the modifier. -A vaal/corrupted/tainted currency which would reroll the modifier AND value. -A regular currency (blessed orbs), which would specifically just reroll the implicit value. The implicits would obviously be tied to item level like they already are As Breach WILL get expanded upon in the future, as stated by GGG (specifically stated that the current endgame mechanics are not done, and will each have at least several more bosses). It would only make sense to add Tainted currency, even if just added to Corrupted maps instead of Breach as a whole, as there is already sanctifying and double-corrupting, to add another level of possible modification.
