PS5 – Unable to load any game instance (stuck on loading before Riverbank / character screen)

Hello Path of Exile 2 Support Team,

I am experiencing a critical issue on PlayStation 5 where the game is unable to load any actual game scene or instance.

This is not a case of long loading times. The game fails to load entirely.

Here is exactly what happens:

- On the character creation screen, the animated background scene does not appear. The screen remains stuck on loading.
- After creating a character and attempting to enter the game, the loading screen for the very first area (The Riverbank) never completes.
- I am completely unable to enter the game world. I have never reached a town, hideout, or any playable area.
- Because of this, I cannot even wait in town for shaders or assets to load — the game never gets that far.

The issue happens before any actual gameplay begins and appears to be related to the client failing to load or initialize instances on PS5.

I have already tried:

- Clearing PS5 system cache in Safe Mode
- Rebuilding the PS5 database
- Reinstalling the game
- Restarting the console multiple times
- Testing different internet connections

None of these steps changed the behavior.

This appears to be a PS5 client-side instance loading or scene initialization failure rather than a performance or settings issue.

Could you please investigate this issue or advise if this is a known problem with the PS5 version?
